I am an Assistant Professor in the Robotics Lab of the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST).

My research is about human-safe and robot-efficient algorithms for close-proximity Human-Robot Interaction. The purpose is to guarantee human safety when robots are operating in daily life environments populated with humans while keeping the robot’s efficiency.

I also love to participate in robotics competitions, sports such as voleyball and basketball, and travelling.
